Pauvres Defans Amis follows the physical and mental trips of Alette and Beau, two aging Louisiana natives forced to survive after a parasitic zombie outbreak. Alette’s creeping dementia keeps her from ever truly recognizing their predicament, while Beau relies on most any substance to take away the brunt of living in an endlessly dangerous post-apocalypse, caring for his best friend as she steadily loses her mind.
